Violet Wool Dress

This is actually a dress I didn't make at all.  Surprise!  It was given to me as a gift when I was in the SCA, just a simple but pretty purple wool gown (even though green is the main color of my device, purple is still my favorite to wear).  There's some really lovely beading and embroidery around the neckline and sleeves.  I don't get to play much any more, but this is one of the few dresses I kept for when I do get to attend events.

My friend Natasha took these photos when visiting me a few summers ago, for some of her upcoming photography projects, and I thought it about time they got some recognition.  *^^*  She really captured a lot of "medieval" feelings in this dress, I thought!
