This is literally the most insane manga I've ever read.  And by read, I mean looked at the pictures.

Cloth Road is about some long-lost twins who decide to find their parents.  The world is now run by fashion designers and models, and so the twins decide the best way to find their folks is to become the best designer-model duo EVAR.  So you can see where it goes from here out, right?  Right.  Lots of epic battles in ridiculous outfits.

I picked little Juliet because she's creepy.  =D  Juliet's weapon is her hair, which she can control and use as a prehensile weapon.  Really, it just doesn't get any better than that.

I was lucky enough to happen upon this really fantastic suiting fabric for her little dress, and it just took off from there.  It's a simple enough design with lots of cute details in lace and ribbon.  Her headpiece (which would actually be her hair), is a bit of fun foam supported with wire.  It's difficult to see in these photos, but there is lighted fiber optics in the wig, and EL wire is attached to the headpiece on the swirl.  I glow.  Seriously.

This costume made its debut at Dragon*Con 2008.
